Through Monday, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources had sold 224,678 firearms deer licenses.  That’s just ahead of last year’s pace, when over 221,000 firearms licenses had been sold by the same date. Hours Of Lake Vermilion Walleye Discussion Clarified

Fisheries officials with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources want to clarify that a meeting to discuss proposed walleye regulations on Lake Vermilion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Tower Civic Center in Tower. Minnesota Black Bear Harvest Unexpectedly High

Minnesota’s bear hunters enjoyed their most successful season in several years, shooting 2,632 bears, according to preliminary Department of Natural Resource figures.
