Deer Hunt Offered For Hunters With Disabilities

Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge is accepting applications for its annual deer hunt for people with disabilities, Oct. 5-8. Deadline is Sept. 1. Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge is five miles south of McGregor on Minnesota Highway 65. Up to 12 hunters will be able to participate. Hunt organizers will assist hunters with getting from the refuge headquarters to and from their hunting sites and handling the deer that are taken.
