If you’re a serious grouse hunter, you might be interested in a Ruffed Grouse Society event happening March 5 near Duluth. The RGS will hold its 2016 Minnesota State Workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clearwater Grille and Event Center, 5135 North Shore Drive. The event is free and open to RGS members and non-members.

Nick Larson, regional director for RGS, said speakers will discuss what’s happening with grouse and woodcock in Minnesota and talk about RGS accomplishments and a vision for the future. Lunch and light refreshments will be served. The event is limited to the first 70 who sign up. To register, contact Larson at nickl@ruffedgrousesociety.org or  (218) 393-7076.
