I had the privilege last weekend of reporting a story about wounded veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars who were bowhunting with Jamie Vee of Iron River. Vee said he found the experience exceptionally moving. My story on the hunt — and on the experiences of the veterans — will appear in Sunday’s Duluth News Tribune and online at duluthnewstribune.com.

Also in the past week, I had a nice grouse hunt with Kelly Shepard of Grand Marais. That story also will appear Sunday in the News Tribune. Here are a couple of photos from that hunt.
