Duluth Hunters Find Pheasants On Trip To McClusky, N.D.

I had the pleasure of hunting pheasants with Duluth’s Mike Marturano, shown above, and his friend Bill Millar this week near McClusky, N.D.  Mike has been hunting that area for 34 years and has gotten to know many of the local farmers. Several of the farmers have opened their land to Marturano and Millar for hunting.

They had a good hunt the day I was along. They hunted part of the day with Marturano’s brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Linda Norling of Bloomington, Minn. I’ll do a complete story on the hunt for Sunday’s Outdoors pages in the Duluth News Tribune. Meanwhile, here are a couple more photos for you.
