It isn’t too soon to start thinking about “the boat show.” The Duluth, Boat, Sports, Travel and RV Show and the Northland Outdoors Duluth Deer Classic will be held Feb. 13 to 17 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Admission is $9 for adults, $6 for students 6 to 17, and free for kids 5 and under. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13 and 14; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 15 and 16; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 17.

The show will include the full complement of boats, RVs, ATVs, fishing gear, animals, seminars and entertainment. No, Twiggy the Water-Skiing Squirrel will not be there, but there will be big deer mounts, wild animals and a lot more.

I’ll be at the show all day every day at the Northland Outdoors Duluth Deer Classic in the Lake Superior Ballroom. That portion of the show was added a few years ago and seems to be very popular. Admission is included in the overall show admission price. Stop by and say “hello” and tell me a story.
