Minnesota bear-hunting licenses that weren’t purchased after a lottery bear drawing will be available to the public starting at noon on Monday, Department of Natural Resources officials said.
Licenses are available for purchase at any DNR license agent or online at mndnr.gov/buyalicense. Permits available vary by bear management unit. A list of available licenses will be available online at www.mndnr.gov/hunting/bear by noon today.
This year’s lottery made 6,000 licenses available in 11 permit areas. Bear hunters selected in the lottery were required to purchase their licenses by Aug. 1.
