About this time in August, the nights begin to cool down, offering a hint of what’s to come. Two of us were camped on Sunday Lake in Ontario’s Quetico Provincial Park on Saturday night, and we awoke to a fog-enshrouded lake. As it burned off, I took a few photos. They reminded me of a lot of September mornings we’ve spent in the canoe country. I’m sure it reminds a lot of bowhunters and grouse hunters of the coming seasons, too.
